THE YOGI SWING TUNER: YOUR PERSONAL RHYTHM FOR PERFECT GOLF
Count Yogi always said that golf is a simple game of rhythm and reflexes. You don't need to force the club, fight your body, or paralyze your mind with a thousand mechanical rules. You simply need to find your natural pace and let the club swing you.
The Yogi Swing Tuner is designed to help you discover your personal, infallible rhythm so you can stop "hitting" and start permitting. Here is the simple, three-step method to train yourself and unlock effortless, graceful golf.
Golf should be as simple, natural, and thoughtless as walking down the street. To find your perfect baseline rhythm, step away from the golf clubs for a moment.
Go for a walk at a brisk, comfortable, and purposeful pace for exactly 60 seconds. Count your steps. Do this a few times until you find your natural stride. If you count 106 steps in a minute, your baseline number is 106. If you count 100, your baseline is 100. This is your personal, built-in rhythm.
Now, plug your natural number into the Tuner. Take your favorite mid-iron (like a 7-iron), step up to the mat, and simply listen to the continuous loop. Do not try to hit the ball; just let your body move with the sound.
When you swing to the exact rhythm of your own natural walk, the tension disappears. You are no longer fighting the club; you are simply riding the rhythm.
Count Yogi proved that you don't need to change your swing for different shots; you just change your rhythm and let your natural reflexes do the rest. Once you have mastered your baseline, use the Tuner's variable dial to practice every shot in your bag.
By practicing these different rhythms on the range, your body builds a complete library of shots. When you step onto the course, you won't have to guess or calculate how hard to swing. You simply take your snappy look at the target, feel the correct rhythm for that distance, and let the magic happen.
Stop steering. Stop swinging. Find your rhythm, and let's make it pretty.
